PRIVATE RESTORATIVE YOGA

Restorative Yoga provides healing for the body and the mind.  It is especially useful when you need to eliminate fatigue and stress that result from your daily activities.  It can also help you recover from illness and injury or overcome emotional depression and anxiety.   Restorative Yoga can activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which enable automatic control of the body.  As such, the regular nervous system will be at rest and the muscles will become more relaxed. Constant practice of restorative yoga will make your body less vulnerable to stress-related illnesses and help you achieve optimal health.

is a system of commitment, to your path, and to the goal of knowing yourself.  But at the same time learning to be calm and still should not become a ceremony or religious ritual; it is a universal requirement of the human body.

Pranayama...

Our breathing is influenced by our thoughts, and our thoughts and physiology can be influenced by our breath.  Learning to breathe consciously and with awareness can be a valuable tool in helping to restore balance in the mind and body.  Researchers have documented the benefits of a regular practice of simple, deep breathing (pranayama) include:

  • Reduced anxiety & depression
  • Lower/stabilized blood pressure
  • Increased energy levels
  • Muscle relaxation
  • Decreased feeling of stress and overwhelm
